Paint Zoom Problems & Complaints

Paint Zoom is a product that has a lot of people talking about it. It is said to be great when it comes to getting your painting needs done in a shorter amount of time than if you were to use paint and a paintbrush. However, now that it has been on the market for a little while people are starting to have different problems and complaints about Zoom Paint. But, what some people have come to realize it that Paint Zoom’s problems and complaints that have been discussed have resulted in people not reading the manual that comes along with it.

Problems and Complaints that cannot be fixed by reading the manual:

  • People have complained about Paint Zoom not holding enough paint for them to get their entire projects completed. This in fact is true because Paint Zoom is not designed to hold a lot of paint due to the fact if it was able to do this then it would not be lightweight and portable.
  • Others say that the Paint Zoom is a good product as far as the way that it paints yet it is not meant to be used for long perriods because it will heat up.
  • Some people have said that you have to stand at the right angle for the Paint Zoom to work. If you are too close to the object you are painting it will cause the paint to blotch up and not look good at all. However, if you are too far away from the object you are painting it will cause the paint to be thin and the paint will also run. So, in the beginning you will have to play around with the Paint Zoom for quite a bit to find out what would be the best distance to stand away from the object you are painting. To some this can be quite bothersome but others do not mind it because they feel that the price they paid for the Paint Zoom was such a great steal.
  • One person has even listed the Paint Zoom on the Rip off Report. They claim to have paid over $100 for the product that did not work. Also, they said when they told the customer representatives that they wanted to return the product, which they did; their card was still being charged for the product afterwards. More specifics about the product that the unhappy customer went on to address included:
    • It took over 3 hours for the patio to get painted (it would have taken them more to paint by hand)
    • The sprayer kept getting clogged (this was likely due to not reading the manual – the viscosity (thinness) of the paint needs to be fit for a paint sprayer and not for hand brush).

Overall, based on what some customers have said about this product it seems that the Paint Zoom has a few kinks that need to be worked out. For some it may indeed work well yet some have not experienced this. When you make the decision to buy the Paint Zoom just make sure that you have done your research on the product first.
